MOD Eastriggs Brake Van

This vehicle was built on the chassis of a standard Eastriggs Wagon for use as a Brake Van and/or Personnel Carrier at the Eastriggs depot. It survives today on the Amerton Railway and although currently out of use can be easily seen from the train.

Whilst this is ideal for the prototypical modeller and is the perfect accompaniment to the standard Eastriggs Wagon, this comparatively small, but utilitarian looking vehicle would make a particularly good accompaniment to the myriad of small diesel outline and battery electric locomotives currently available from the wider 16mm scale trade.

The kit includes interior seating detail, but this area is otherwise rather spartan in line with the full size prototype.

Please note that due to that comparatively small size, this kit is only available for 32mm gauge.

– Highly detailed, with engraved rivet detail, full strapping and (non working) representation of the brake gear.

-Complete with Binnie Engineering Wheels and Axles as well as HGLW Oil Filled Bronze Bearings and correct pattern 3D Printed ‘Bell-Mouth’ Couplings

– 32mm Gauge Only
